Academy of Art University Graphic Design Department alum Anne Tsuei was awarded $500 for her winning banner design for the Union Street Merchants Association.
The Union Street banner design contest began as a pro-bono project to re-design Union Street facilitated by Tom McNulty and funded by Wells Fargo. Tom McNulty hired three Academy of Art University BFA in Graphic Design graduates to design the banners. Anne Tsuei and Sheri Kuniyki, both now working for Michael Osborne Design, and Augustus Ang took part in the competition.
