“I couldn’t believe it when I got the email inviting me to be part of the issue!” Nathan Godding says of receiving notification that he was named one of HOW magazine’s 16 Young Creatives to Watch. Nathan, a BFA student who will graduate this spring, is featured in the publication’s current issue.
Of Nathan’s move from studying marine biology to getting a degree in graphic design, the folks at HOW say, “We’re glad he made the switch; Godding’s school portfolio shows tons of promise, with typography skills that could suit him well for a job designing book covers.”
Nathan is currently interning at Hybrid Design with owners Brian Flynn and Dora Drimalas, who were judges at Winter Show 2011. Nathan says he’s honored to be in HOW and in the company of other very talented young designers. But, for now, he’s focused on getting through Mary Scott’s portfolio class this semester.
