2015 Spring Show is here!

AAU-GR_15SS-invitation_16x9-525Explore exciting work from 2015 graduates of the School of Graphic Design at Spring Show, Monday, May 18. Brand-new alumni—26 BFAs and 26 MFAs—will be sharing their portfolios, including projects from advanced packaging classes.

A panel of distinguished designers from across the nation will select students and their portfolios for scholarships.

Scholarships for outstanding students are generated through the School of Graphic Design’s corporate sponsorship partners, which include Trinchero Family Estates, The Hershey Company and Monotype Imaging Holdings.

For the design community
Portfolio viewing by the design community and evaluation by judges is from 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Beginning at 7 p.m., the site is open to continuing students, families and the general public until 9 p.m.

Industry guests are welcome all day, but we ask that you RSVP with Karen Barrett (kbarrett@academyart.edu).

• Where: 2225 Jerrold Avenue, San Francisco (map). No parking at 2225 Jerrold.
• Transportation: Free shuttle bus service every 15 minutes from 180 New Montgomery St. all day until 9:30 p.m. Free parking at AT&T Park, Parking Lot A, 74 Mission Rock Rd. (3rd St., between Terry Francois Blvd. and Mission Rock St.). Also continuous complimentary shuttles from this lot!

ALERT: This news notice is for industry professionals and others interested in meeting our Graphic Design students. The university also has a Spring Show Open House on May 30, but the latter event is for prospective students.
