“The challenge was to represent the essence of temporary or ‘pop-up’ architecture through experimental typography,” says Vega. “This series exhibits the variety of materials, techniques and designs that were used to create each piece. From block assembling to reusing and optimizing space, the series shows not only perspective, volume and space, but also the most important factor—a temporary sense.” Vega’s project was developed for Graphic Design instructor Kathrin Blatter’s Type Experiments course.

Typefaces include ITC Avant Garde Gothic and DIN.
