Spring Show 2015: And the winners are…

overall-view-of-graphic-design-spring-show-2915As the culmination of the college experience for new grads, Spring Show always presents plenty of drama. But the dénouement, the climax, the zenith of Spring Show is at the very end of the day: the presentation of scholarship awards to top students.

For 2015’s show on Monday, May 18, 52 new alumni—26 MFAs and 26 BFAs—held their collective breath as seven $1000-dollar scholarships were announced, with cash awards courtesy of the School of Graphic Design’s corporate sponsorship partners, including Trinchero Family Estates, The Hershey Company and Monotype Imaging Holdings.

And here are the recipients of scholarships for 2015 Spring Show:

MFA graduate Hanna Coward received the Directors Choice Award at this year's Spring Show. From left, Coward with Online Director Anitra Nottingham, Executive Director Mary Scott and Graduate Director Phil Hamlett. Coward took both online and onsite courses to earn her degree.

Coward’s portfolio, including an innovative approach to depicting, explaining and teaching principles of atomic bonding, attracted attention from industry representatives.
